You Initiate Service To Other People. The truly Great Leaders see the need, seize the opportunity, and serve without the expectation of anything in return. Some people will serve in a crisis or when compelled to do so. But look to the heart of the individual that initiates servanthood leadership to other people.
You Are Not Position Conscious. Being a leader if anything gives you a greater sense of obligation to serve. The truly Great Leaders are not focused on rank or position, but rather in servanthood leadership. What is in a title is not nearly as important as what is in the heart.
You Serve Out of LOVE. The extent of your influence depends more on the depth of your concern for other people. It is not motivated by manipulation or self-promotion. The fuel that you are fueled by is your love. This is why you have such a great need for those leaders who are willing to serve. After all real love is rooted in servanthood leadership.

Move Into Action. You need to develop an attitude of servanthood leadership. Start serving with your body and your heart will follow. Sign up to serve other people at your local church or community agency. At the end of six months if your attitude still is not geared to servanthood leadership do it again. We need to keep it up until our hearts change.
